BRACES & CLEAR ALIGNERS FOR TEENS

At Feller Orthodontics, we know the value of a beautiful smile. We see it every day in our patients. They leave our office with beaming, confident smiles to take on the world. That’s what makes our job so incredibly rewarding!

There are several treatment options for teens just like you!

Metal & Clear Braces

One of the most popular options for teens is our self-ligating braces that come in both traditional and clear! With this revolutionary self-ligating technology, the metal wire is held into place by a moveable component instead of elastic ties. This allows your teeth to move more freely to provide a more comfortable orthodontic experience.

Clear Aligners for  Teens

With school, sports, dating, and hanging out with friends, getting metal braces may not be part of your plan. Well, we have great news for you. Now, you can straighten your smile without anyone even knowing using clear aligners! With no metal brackets and wires, you’re free to enjoy the things that make these the best times of your life.

No One Needs to Know

Clear aligners are made of a smooth, clear plastic that is virtually invisible. Your friends probably won’t even know you’re wearing them. You’ll enjoy the confidence of showing off your smile every day.

Eat with Freedom

If you have any friends with metal braces, you know that there are certain foods that are restricted with braces. With traditional metal braces, you are not allowed to chew gum, or eat foods such as popcorn, nuts or crunchy or chewy candy. With clear aligners, your trays are removable so you can eat all the foods you enjoy whenever you want. This also means you can brush and floss normally to maintain great oral hygiene.

Keep Doing What You Love

Whether you play sports or a musical instrument, metal brackets and wires can potentially make those activities a bit harder. You can remove your trays for those activities with clear aligners. Just be sure to pop them back in right after! No matter what treatment you choose, make sure you wear a mouth guard if you play contact sports! It can save your smile!
